Have you cleaned your brushes this week?
LOL, me neither. LET'S DO IT TOGETHER!
In the post below, I have a description of how to clean your brushes, products that have worked the best for me, and easy tools to help you along the way!

Makeup is apart of our daily life. With all that makeup we put on, it also absorbs into our brushes, and sponges. It is super important to properly clean them to lower the risk of bacteria, build up, and of course, breakouts (blah).
First Step: Brush Cleansers
I use the Quo Goat Milk Cleansing Balm, but you can also use shampoo, or a gentle dish soap.
The reason I prefer the cleansing balm is because of how effective it is, and you will not get out that makeup with just water! The more build up you have, the better it is to use a balm, or DAWN dish soap. The way it emulsifies into your brushes makes it so easy to get out and your brushes will smell amazing!
Step Two: Cleansing
Once you have your brush cleanser of choice, run lukewarm water over the brushes until completely wet (you can do this all at once or brush by brush). Then apply your cleanser to a cleansing mat, or if you do not have a pad, use your hands and fingers. Begin to move the brush back and forth through your fingers and around your palm to gently lather. A cleansing mat will have divots and grooves to help the cleanser work through your brush. Rinse well with water, and repeat if necessary. Pinch off excess water with fingers.
Lastly: Drying
Grab a towel, or drying holder
Place those bad boys on a towel, or drying holder and let them stay there overnight! You may use a blow dryer if you are in a rush lol! Speaking from experience, unless you want your brushes frayed, I wouldn't do it.
YOUR BRUSHES SAY THANK YOU It's nice to give your brushes some love, plus your face will thank you for it, and your makeup will look 20 times better. Trust me. Thank you for joining me, happy cleansing!
